Paint your nails with one or two coats of your base polish. Apply one coat of your clear polish. While topcoat is still wet; apply your lace pattern to your finger as firmly as you can. An easy but complicated-looking lace nail design is ready. You can cut your lace into the pattern you want to fit over your nails. Ombré patterns have been everywhere as of late, and you can do it at home now. All you need is a basic sponge. Using the lighter of the two colors, paint your nails and wait for it to dry completely. On a flat surface, paint a generous amount of the colors right next to each other on to the plastic. Make sure they’re just about touching at the edges. Using a toothpick, swirl the two colors together where they meet. Take your sponge and dab it directly down on to the polish a few times. Dab the sponge directly down on to your nail. Keep dabbing lightly and moving it very slightly up and down your nail. Just make sure each layer is completely dry before sponging again otherwise you will start smudging the underneath layers and ruin the whole thing. Once dried apply top coat.
