Who doesn’t love a perfect pout? Whether it’s during the day or you are out at night, a lipstick is your best friend. But the constant chore of touch-ups time and again can be such a hassle. Here are 5 cool Steps to make your lipstick last through the day and night!!
The most important thing you can do to you lips is Exfoliate. Lipstick won’t stick to dry, flakey lips so exfoliate with a gentle scrub to remove any dry and dead skin. This will make the lips soft and supple.
Now that your lips are soft and smooth, seal it in with a moisturizing lip balm. Allow the lip balm to sink in for a few minutes. When you are ready to apply your lip product make sure to gently wipe off any excess lip balm.
Line and fill in your lips with a lip liner that is similar to your lip color. This is extremely important as this will lay the foundation for the lipstick you apply on top. So if your lipstick rubs off, your lip liner would keep the color on your lips.
Step-4: Apply, Blot And Repeat
Next take a tissue and blot your lips a couple of times to really press the color into your lips. You can go back in with your lipstick and apply a second coat of color. By just doing this step, it will help to extend the life of your lipstick.
Close your mouth, set the color in place with a light dusting a translucent powder using a fluffy brush and you’re out the door!!

Step-2: Apply a Base- Coat
Always apply a base coat before applying nail Color. A sticky base coat will make your nail polish stick to the base and make it last longer.
Step-3: Apply Polish In Thin Coats
Always apply your nail polish in thin layers. Thick layers tend to peel off of the Nail Paint.
Step-4: Allow Polish To Dry Between Coats
Always give enough drying time in between two coats. Apply the second coat only after the first coat has completely dried.
