Everyone wants to look great and most of us women love make up. The bad news is that too much make up is never good for the skin nor on the pocket. The good news is that it need not be! In other words, there are tricks to look great without spending too much or exposing your skin to too many products. Here is a list of fun ideas that you can try with basic stuff that you can find easily around you.

  1. Interchange roles

We have all tried using our mom’s lipstick as a blusher when we were kids. The idea actually is a good one to try. Lipsticks come in so many shades and if you have one then you can very well use it in place of an eye-shadow too. On the other hand, if you already have eye shadow then you can use that too instead of an expensive blusher or a bronzer. This interchanging of roles also comes handy in case of emergencies. You can try this with several other products as per your requirements
  2. Use hair oil as an anti frizz solution

The best anti frizz solution is your regular hair oil. All you have to do is take a few small drops and use it to flatten up the frizz. Use sparingly as you don’t want your head to appear greasy
  3. Iron your hair using a regular clothes iron!

You don’t have to buy an expensive straightener to style your hair. A regular clothes iron can be used to keep your looking neat and frizz free. You must be careful to not to burn your hand or your scalp when trying this.

    • Let the iron heat up to a moderate temperature
    • Fold up a thick towel to create a safe base for ironing
    • Take your hair in small bunches and hold the bunch flat with the towel. Press the hot plate directly to your hair and iron it the way you would!

If you can have a friend help you, the result will be even better and the process all easier
